The purpose of TBTS
To equip students to be servants, capable of building up the body of Christ through churches of the Baptists’ church of Tanzania (BCT) and churches of other denominations.
To train men and women called by God who have demonstrated that they have gifts that will enable them to fruitful workers in ministry.
To assist students in Christian and ministerial formation that affects growth in spiritual, intellectual and practical areas life. The goals of such effort envision the development of the whole person as an effective Christian, knowledgeable in God’s Word, and skilled in practicing and proclaiming that Word.
